I have a 07 XB9R Firebolt. I just did some 'real' riding today on some curvy back country roads. I was riding with 2 GSXR 1000s and yes it is true, Buells do keep up with the 4s in the twisties!! They couldn't believe it! Anyways back to the subject... We were running anywhere between 70 and 120mph, the roads were a tad bumpy. I noticed that in some of the turns the handle bars would shake pretty drastically. I was looking on American Sports Bike and saw the XB series LSL steering damper and a XB9R Stortz steering damper kit. I like the looks of the LSL one better but was wondering if anyone has either of the two and if so do they reduce the handle bar shake (I guess that's what they call tank slappers?) I also have a carbon fiber rs air scoop from American Sports Bike would it be an issue for either of these dampers?

You can't run the Storz with the RSS, but the LSL shouldn't be a problem.
