I just took my bike out of storage and the battery was somewhat dead so I gave it a quick charge and it started right up. I let it run for lie 15 min. and took it for a ride. As I was riding for about 5 min it started puttering and the light that looks like it is 2 socks crosses?? begin to come on and off. What light is this? Battery light? Anyways the bike stalled and it wouldnt start because the battery was dead just like that. Any ideas? thanks Nick |

Remove and clean the battery cables, top the battery off again, and try again. Slap a multi meter across the battery terminals while the bike is running and the charger is removed, and watch it for a few minutes and tell us what the voltage does. |

You charged it up with an external charger? I'm thinking blown stator. I would run the stator test next (as per service manual). Information in the knowledge vault as well. |
