Sanchez, I have the "Polly Heaters" and they are indeed scorchers. I have to modulate the between Hi/low/off constantly. I am able to use them with my waterproof Joe rocket gloves with some level of success. The problem arises when it get's into the low 30's my fingertips get frozen. The handguards do not extend low enough to block the frigid wind and I end up compromising my handle hold position for some warmth. I have been trying to solve this issue all winter and the most likely solutions are... www.hippohands.com I think these are the ticket, along with grip heaters one could wear normal race-type gauntlet gloves year round. I have tried to purchase wool lined elkskin gloves from www.aerostich.com twice to be told they are not available with no ETA in sight. www.advrider.com has some excellent reviews and is just a wonderful sight in general. Tons of info and a few of our Badweb brethren are present daily.(Ft-Bstrd, Danger Dave, Chad Hargis etc...) You might be there as well? Jinance too. That's the scoop. NUTS |

Somebody had extenders for the factory hand to block more air as well. Touratech maybe? |

I e-mailed the hippo hand guy to see if he made hippo hands for the Buell. At this time he doesn't have anything specifically for the Buells but he believes the dual purpose ones should fit. www.hippohands.com/KLR650%20Hippo%20Hands.htm I'm planning on getting a pair before next winter. It's not so much the cold as it is the cold wind that kills my fingers and the hippo hands look like they'll do the trick of blocking it out nicely. On edit: he believes they'll work with Buells equipted with hand guards. (Message edited by Metalstorm on February 18, 2007) |

Reep, the Touratech spoilers fit on the top IIRC. I really need lower spoilers. Metal, I'd really like to see a set of the Hippo's before shelling out the dough. NUTS |
