I see good feedback on the Muller Power Clutch, but can't find any mention of the Custom Chrome Clutchlite. They specify it fits Buells. Here's a picture of one for sale: https://www.chopperscycle.com/page/VTS/PROD/38-290 /37686 You can see, it's sort of just the inner half of the Muller Power Clutch. But the price is about one fourth of the Power Clutch. Wondering if anybody has tried this, and/or has any comments? |

Oh, sure, you post this AFTER I spend the big bucks on a Muller! |

In six weeks you're the first person to respond, and you got the Muller, instead. Seems like nobody here has tried it, or wants to give any feedback on it. I hadn't bought one yet, I guess I will plan to go ahead and get one, next time I work on the clutch. |

I just ordered one of these in 'soft.' I probably won't install it for a week or 2. I'll let you know how it works. |

I'd like to see how well this performs since it's so much cheaper than the Muller and looks a bit different. There's a Free Spirits soft clutch from Adrenaline Moto that's around the same price but looks more like the Muller. This thread discusses it http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/327 77/272770.html?1177574971 I'd like to get either the FS one or this one within the next couple weeks. The FS soft clutch has really good reviews but may need to be adjusted perfectly, which could be a pain. It would be nice know how well this Custom Chrome one works/fits so I could make a more informed decision. I'm not really considering a Muller due to it's high cost. |

Jayvee, Tpoppa... When you installed the Clutchlite, did you install a new retaining ring (that holds the inner and outer ramps together), or did you use the original one? |

As an FYI, I reused the old ring. As long as you don't deform it, it'll snap right back on. I had to use needlenose Vice Grips to get it off/on though! The Clutchlite is an awesome product. Tested for 60 miles so far, it definitely reduced clutch effort by about the advertised 30% (I bought the "soft" one). Definitely worth my $47! http://www.phatperformanceparts.com/ProductDetails .asp?ProductCode=CC-CLUTCHLITE |
