Converting a 99 X1 to carb and was hoping someone that had done this before could point me in the right direction about how to re-wire to accept the new ignition module (Crane Hi4E)

You'll need a new timing cup, aftermarket igntion module with correct coil. Then just follow the instructions from the ignition kit..

The ECM is just by-passed or removed.
