Does anyone know of a shorter version of the turn signals for an XB12ss. I don't mind the look, but they stick out way too far. Also can anyone recommend a nice bar end mirror? Thanks |

Also, I found these bar end mirrors that look cool, does anyone now the inside diameter of the bars. (I'm a little lazy, but I can measure if need be.) http://www.oberon-performance.co.uk/acatalog/Bar_E nd_Mirrors.html |

Get a set of the rear turn signals for the front. They fit right on and are somewhat shorter. You'll need to replace the rear turn signals with aftermarket ones if you want them shorter as well. Check this thread for discussion about the same mirrors!!; http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/384 2/242730.html |

I have the COnstructors Racing Group "Hindsight" bar end mirrors and love them. Check them out at www.constructorsrg.com |

Thanks, I'll check them both out. The rear turn signals for the front sound like what I want. I'll check out those bar end mirrors too. |

You can also disassemble the front signals, remove the stalk spacer, put it inside the front shield and reinstall everything that way. Same as "rear" signals but you don't have to buy anything...although I hear you have to have midget-hands to work inside the front end |

I actually did something similar to that. I took the headlamp off and the signals. Took the spacers off, cut down the tube and threaded the tube all the way. Then reinstalled them. Worked great. |

I just took the spacers off of my front signals today. I used the spacers on the inside as Ratbuell posted, so as not to have to re-thread the tube. No clearance issues when headlight was reinstalled. I took the flyscreen and headlight off, much easier access to the jam nut/washer holding the signal stalks. Looks much better and no added expense. |

before you do anything about turn signals, I found some at this site that not only look good, they are xtra bright, xtra small, easy too to install, they come in black, satin{ same as grey on firebolt frame} and chrome!!! adrenaline-moto is the site in u.k. www.trojan-horse.co.uk check this site out, for mirrors too |
