I have talked to a local dealer and they [i think] have talked me into a 90ci kit with cams. They said it will make crazy HP. Has anyone seen or gone this big with a xb 12.Any feed back would be great. |

Can I ask some questions, like how do you fuel it, bigger injectors? How do you crank it over, does the stock starter motor handle it? Do you have to change the ignition timing, and is the rev limit much lower? Can you use the stock heads/cams? I'll bet it's got some wicked grunt! |

No, i have a carb. so i went with a 45mm. The stock starter does have some problems turning over the engine, not sure how long it will last. I run the Dyna 2000i ignition with adjustable timing curves. I'm still breaking the engine in right now but the pistons and crank assembly are very light so should be able to turn the same R's. I had some head work done and cams are bigger nothing to radical. To take advantage of the cubes i think head work and cams are a must. I can't wait to test the power, but i believe in a slow break in period. Radon |
