Anyone have experience with aftermarket rotors (and other components)? I'd like to go with a cast iron disk, but the old stockers chatter in time and the Ferodo is a bit pricey. The other alternatives (for a single disk) are EBC and the Braking Wave rotor. The Wave rotor doesn't look like it's very well suited to street use, and I haven't heard anything about the EBC. |

Banke also sells a wave rotor for all Buells - so he advertises - his is a little beefier - looks well suited to street usage and would be a prefered upgrade in any book esp. with the Ferardo pads. Just what I picked up surfing but I checked them out and he said he could even have them done for a Blast - cool by me - not that much more than a stock replacement costs here in SF - so my next maintenance upgrade is an obvious choice, PM and others also make some nice stuff out there thats fairly priced. I'm always looking at and for stuff for the bike - so I always see da nu stuff - lol Got Thump?! Just Blasting on the Dark side! |

I didn't know Banke had one. I'll have to check that out...in the meantime I have this When the local shop lets you down, ASB to the rescue! (Message edited by rick_a on May 15, 2003) |
