Because of my plans for this winter,I wanted to know what my starting point is.
M2 Cyclone 2002,41100Km
StageI ported M-Tek heads,stock pistons, stock cams(european,same as X1),stock lifters&rockers,
Mikuni HSR 42,167,5 main,27,5 idle,Forcewinder AC,
Pro Series header and muffler
Pro Series race modul,Brisk spark plugs
XB breathers 2-2 leading to a catch can
15W50 Synthetic motorcycle engine oil
Engine hot,after a 100Km street ride
Temp.12°Celsius, humidity 60%,
124,7Nm = 92ft-lbs at 5070r/pm
99DIN PS(HP) at 5700r/pm
Straight curve,high torque niveau,not to bad I think.Never dynod that bike before.
I'm excited what my upgrades will show next spring.

Nice! Why did the dyno run stop so soon? That beast is still breathing extremely well when it was shut down at 5700 rpm! |

@Greg.
I'm planning the 1250cc upgrade,SE 536 cams and matching valve springs with Ti collars, roller rockers,new lifters,adjustable pushrods and collapsible covers.
If I can afford,I will also spend my money on StageII heads.
What about you and your trip to Germany?

Sadly I hadn't recognized that they had stopped the run @ 5700 rpm until I saw the printout.
To my demand they answered,they wanted to take care of my engine and that there would be no more power beyond that point.
IMO,they didn't know much about Buells,it's foremost a Harley dealer and that my rev limiter is set to 6800rpm.
I'm pretty sure that otherwise my little sweety would have easily broken the 100PS(HP) barrier.
A good Dyno is very hard to find in my neighborhood.

Hey Ralph,
Still waiting to see if my mom will ever be able to make the trip again. This past year the Eifel crowd came here for 10 days of visiting -- that's a long time
I'll be back in the Eifel I just don't know when. |
