Hey folks.

I have a 2003 XB9r. While doing some work on my bike (as embarrassing as this is) I had the battery on charge and I was playing with the wires connected to the ignition. one of the wires grounded out. Since then, when i try to start the bike, the fuel pump does not prime, and the ignition does not turn the starter. Basically my bike is dead in the water. any suggestions on where to start?

Has anyone made this mistake? or had there bike hotwired and had this problem?

Thanks guys
