Finally got my first primary leak. Pooling by the top of the starter. In the KV Spiderman said this might be the gromnet for the stator. I will silicone this when I do the updated primary cover gasket and change lube. I also want to change the starter gasket just in case. Can someone tell me if there is room enough without hitting the rear exhaust pipe to pull it back far enough to install a gasket. Spidey, you out there or anyone else who has done this. Thanks much, Bob |

Bob, Unfortunately you need to pull the pipe. No room to get the starter out. I just did the gasket change on my M2 and a friends. You can get the starter bolts out without pulling the clutch assembly. The starter gaskets are very flimsy. I sprayed mine with Permatex Copper Coat. Hopefully it will help. Brad |
