I am looking to upgrade my belt from an 03 to 04 but I am wondering about pulley sizes. I am in the U.K. and have a 72 tooth rear pulley and a 30 tooth front pulley. Are the American sizes different like on the tuber Buells? I can buy the kit for $400 from the States but I am looking at closer to $1000 in the U.K. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. Norrie. |

Norrie, They are the same sizes here and there. The tube framed Buells geared them differently here and there, but that's not true on the XB's. The 04 conversion maintains almost the the same 72/30 (2.400) ratio you have, but with a 27 tooth front and 65 tooth rear (2.407). None of the guards are compatible. The kit we sell doesn't come with those, but the guards you need are also available either in OEM plastic or CF. We don't provide the taller rear master cylinder, we haven't found it to be necessary. Thanks for that mate. That clears things up. I also sent the shop an E-Mail. So do you deliver to the U.K.? Thanks again. Norrie. |
