Need new tires on my 02 M2, Think it's between the Conti Attacks or the Mich. Pilots. Any body got any input? Thanks? Mostly just commute. |

If you want the tires for mostly commuting I would suggest the Michelin Pilot Road. It will last for a long time and is the best tire I have ever used in the rain. Also it is very good around city ridding and when it slips it does it progressively. If you warm it up, it will be OK for sport ridding as well but don't expect the performance of the Pilot Power. Overall it is the longer lasting tire available with reasonable dry grip and excellent wet grip. Also very important : Hard taking off from traffic lights, they make this incredible paranoid noise like a big car is spinning its tires, and everybody around you turn heads and panic!!! The pilot power I have used is excellent for sport riding, but not very good in the rain. Also it will survive half the miles than the Pilot Road. |
