I can see steel thread on My Dunlop D220's Sucks to be me. Wondering how long if any you can ride on these?. Wasnt planning on spending $ again for tires till next spring. Thks for any advise. |

You'd be taking a chance just riding to the shop to have the new tires put on, take off the wheels yourself and get the tires replaced. |

Definitely a risk you should NOT take! Tires are far more critical on a bike than on a car. Even at low speeds a blow out is a hairy experience. |

There are many net-oriented stores that have tires for about C note. Tires wear... Maybe try something more mileage oriented if you're on a strict tire budget. DAve |

Thanks for the tips, Dave, can you point me to the "C"note net tire source. i cant find any less than 160 or so then shipping and duty. Canada is way up north right!! |

I have ordered both a front and rear from "RideDirect.com" for just over US$200. They don't carry Pirelli's, but do carry just about everything else. I believe the shipping was free too on an order of $200 or more. |
