Hey guys, I have a couple of questions that you all may be able to help me with. First off, will a set of X1 Millenium Alum pegs mount directly to my 2000 M2 or will i need to purchase springs, etc. Second, I've been looking into getting a more aggressive stance on the M2. I was wondering if the peg/controls relocation kits are worth $400+ buy it now price on ebay?? Seems pretty steep.. Are there any other possible alternatives or good products out there? Also if I go with the peg relocation i'll probably spring for a set of race bars. What do you all think? Thanks! |

I'd trust the quality of what Al at American Sport Bike sells more than ebay parts. Plus he'll be there if you need replacement parts later on. |

You should also know that the handling will be transformed more than you can imagine. The rubber Sportster pegs that come stock on my S1W were great for hiding what the chassis is doing under your feet. Rocket |

The Mellnium pegs will bolt right on. I've go them to my 2000 M2 and bothtof the S2's in the garage. The stock pegs springs fit perfect. For the price, they are hard to beat. However, be aware that the Mellinum pegs are currently obsolete. They can however still be ordered through your dealer, they get them from an outfit whose name currently escapes me. It's a place that HD sdumps their old parts. Or so I was told... Brad Brad |

also, if you can score some old stock -- either S2 or S3 scoots had a accessory peg that was meant to lower it's height for touring -- strangley enough, ,they could be flipped 180 degrees and side to side, and raised the pegs an equal amount (no more than an inch in either direction, if memory serves) if you're scraping your MaDeuce pegs regular like, I've got two words for ya "track day" |

I have one of those "T" footpeg brackets sitting in a box - can't remember which side. Got it along with a side plate I bought recently. I'd be happy to send it out to Bomber for review/re-make. Henrik |

Henrik, That would be fabulous! I would have to take mine off and send them. I'd be afraid of messing up on a measurement. If need be, I'll do it in a heart beat. Tom, Damn fine looking pub in that picture. Where is it? Brad |

You might have been lying in the sawdust on the bar-room floor... That picture was taking Saturday afternoon at this year's Homecoming, after we left Road America and right before we did our excellent rendition of two middle-aged guys trying to push-start a dead motorcycle. Which was followed by the well-documented episode of two guys in matching jackets pulling into a parking lot on a single motorcycle, right before a low-rider el Camino put on an impromptu fireworks display. I know you were there for that little fandango! rt |
