Does anyone know if the fan in the Ulysses is explosion proof? Do we need to wait until it cycles OFF before we open the gas and begin refueling? I realize it is a remote possibility, but I'm always right on top of it, so an explosion could be lethal. My first Buell, after 26 years of Beemers! The BadWeB is the best cycle forum anywhere! |

I would'nt worry about it I have 13,000 miles on my 'bolt and never worry about getting lit up. |

I think the probability of the cooling fan acting as an ignition source would be vanishingly small. you are probably far more likely to be taken out by a minivan driver. |
