What are the aftermarket or factory options for larger throttle bodies??? EFI of course...

I'm considering boring mine out and installing a larger butterfly. I've located a place that does this, but they get $300+ for it. I can get a butterfly for $13 and do the boring myself (free).

Anybody got anything to add/suggest???

The folks at Cycle Rama and Revolution Performance have exactly what you are looking for already finished. Give them a call.

How many hp are you putting down? the stock 12 throttle body is good for up to
around 125 or so before it becomes a real problem. A lot of race teams are running
the stock throttle body.

Over boring the throttle body is not an easy job. aside from the machine work there
is hand blending required. $500 doesn't sound bad from a machinist viewpoint.

If that's the case then maybe I won't worry about it. I'm putting an EFI setup from a '99 S3 on my '00 Sportster. HP isn't really a big concern at this point. If I get to the point of making near 125 I would be more than happy, so I imagine I'll just leave it alone. Thanks for the info.
