Has anyone removed frame pucks? Were you able to remove the residual adhesive without marking the frame? If so what did you use to remove the adhesive? |

WD-40 works wonders for removing adhesives without harming the finish. |

Try ppg oil and prep cleaner, or maybe a mild mineral spirit |

I just used a blow torch and melted mine off. Rubbing alcohol only!!!! Start by pouring it under the lip of the puck then use a plastic picnic knife to get up under the edge of the puck and apply pressure, add more alcohol as you can. |

Bring your bike to Mississippi. Leave it parked out in the sun on a really hot, humid day. Do this for a couple days straight and they will pull away from the frame in no time. Bob |

The instructions said use alcohol. Do not use Goof-Off or any other solvent as it may harm the paint. |

Why would you want to take them off? |

I used rubbing alcohol. Perfect. Let it soak in, and pull them off. |

Parts guy suggested heat gun and fishing line... said I'd lose some paint. Brilliant. Why have pucks at all? Your suggestions sound much gentler. Thanks. |
