Hey all I got in a jam and had to purchase my first tire and got what ever was on hand so i could get to work. Does anyone know the life I'll be getting out of the dunlop D616 rear tire. I guess these are stock tires for the ulysis. Thanks in advance. Next time i might try to get a Z6 Ive saw some good stuff on this website about them. |

The rear lasts about 3k miles. The front longer. |

My original dunlop rear just reached the wear marks at 7700 miles. Does this mean I'm a sissy rider??? Ok, Ok..don't answer that..... |

I wish I could get that kind of mileage on my rear tire. I changed mine at 6600km! The real pain was that I changed it on a Friday and went for a ride to scrub it in on Saturday and picked up a drywall screw. So my second rear tire only got a little over 400km on it. Am on my third now. When I have to change both, I'm going to try the 2007 OEM tires instead to see how they wear. Frankly I'd take a bit more tire life at the expense of some traction. I do ride the Uly often off pavement though. |
