I have an old clutch spring compressor from my FXR riding days. Of course the threaded bar (see picture) does not fit the Buell/Sporty clutch mechanism. Does anyone know if I can just buy a different threaded rod that'll fit my Buell clutch so I won't have to buy the whole tool again? Henrik |

It looks like I have an early version of this Motion Pro tool: http://www.motionpro.com/motorcycle/tools/product/clutch_spring_compression_tool _for_h-d/ and that the kit comes with both big twin and sporty adaptors. I of course, has no clue if mine ever did and if so where the sporty adaptor might be. Suggestions? Anyone know the thread size of the sporty set-up? Henrik |

I think that extra shaft shown is the extra part you need. I'd look at mine when I get home but I lost it in a moving box during my last move and haven't found it yet. Finally down to the last few boxes so it should hopefully show up soon. |

That's what I was thinking Mike. Problem solved. I called Motion Pro and they're shipping me one. Very cool guys btw. Had a nice - one of them rides a Buell. Henrik |
