Althought we are not racing on Buells, maybe there are some of you who are interested in: German IDM Superbike class 2. race Second run in IDM Superbike class in Oschersleben ‘Kelle’ still leading! After the glorious first race of the season 2006 on the Hockenheimring, Wilbers Racing team had to defend its pool-position!!! This weekend, the second run of IDM Superbike class started in Oschersleben. Wilbers rider, Christian ‘Kelle’ Kellner who won the first race on the German Hockenheimring was defending his lead and won important points for the championship. The difficult and constantly changing weather was challenging for all the teams in this race. However we miscalculated during the qualifying and had to start the race on the 11th starting position. Our fast man, “Kelle” and his powerful Suzuki GSXR 1000 K6 gathered ground from the first second on and reached the first curve on the fifth position. Christian Kellner fought until the end and was rewarded with the second position. Unfortunately his effort was not sufficient to win the race. Wilbers Racing Suspension Racing team rejoice about another 40 important championship points. Until now, Wilbers is the undisputed leader in 2006 IDM Superbike class.
