I'd like to hear from those of you that have done this yourselves. Did you replace the four engine mount bolts when you did the isolators as suggested by American Thunder Bike? If you did replace the bolts did you use OEM bolts or a good grade of generic? I need to do my isolators but do not want to wait for the factory bolts. james |

I've not replaced the bolts, and my motor has been out of the frame and back in again twice in the past 8 years. Rocket |

Yes, I've heard tell of a simple scissor jack used to spread a little clearance. But don't Buell market \ sell a tool for the purpose these days? I thought they did. Rocket |

You do not want to spread the frame, but rather compress the isolators. The Buell tool is not needed. There are photos and instructions on this site somewhere. jimidan |
