who know the real differences about the new 06 final belt and the earlier 05 model. i want to by a new one , the 05 here in italy is in stock the new one not yet . if there are big differences maybe is better wait some time ( 2 or 3 months) . if there are not so many differences and the old one is good like the new i can by right now the 05 model . thanks for any information. On one hand I think there is a big difference, the new belts are much more resistent to foreign object damage and mishandling. That being said, the 05 belts were much better then the original system, and if handled correctly it was not the least bit unusual to get 20k plus miles from one. So the new is better, but the old is fine, especially if you handle it correctly before installation. |
