I have a question on the xb breather hoses. At IDLE I can physicaly feel the air escaping and puffing out with my finger tips when i put it over the hose. I know this is good. But when I give it throttle the air pressure you used to be able to feel at idle goes away. It stops outputing air pressure when i give it gas. Then when it(the throttle) comes back down to idle it then starts outputing air. Is this normal on the XB? Is this how theyre supposed to work during higher than idle engine speed? Thanks |

Everything is just fine !!! You do not need to worry about at engine RPM's above idle when riding as you will not be able to hold your finger over hose ... |

I'll tag my question on here. On my new-to-me S2, at idle, there is enough airflow from the breather to blow out a match four inches away. It sounds like an air-compressor. This is on a bike with a foot long hose off the breather. Have I just never noticed the output on my other bikes because they have a longer hose? (Neither of the others are running to allow me to compare.) I'm wondering if I need to replace the umbrella valves. And hoping not to, as its booked for a full tear-down next winter. |

As you bring up the RPM's does it level out, aka as much in as out? |
