Me being a tried and true metz fan... Having run Sportec M1 tires on both an M2 and S1. Being happy with the performance. On the street and finding the limits on the track. I will be ditching the M1 line in favor of the M3 line. Initial ride on the M3 rear with M1 front. Very positive! Just need to finish scrubbing the M3 in and give it a real good workout in the hills. |

Keep us posted on the results and the wear. I've gone through quite a few sets of M1s, my next set of tires will either be M3s or Pilot Powers. |

Running M3's on the 12R and I say they work brilliantly. With the M1's I used to get just a hair of slip just after rolling in because I wasn't getting on the throttle soon enough. With the M3's the front feels more planted at that point and through the turn. The rear feels jsut about the same to me with the exception that I haven't been able to over heat it and get it greasy yet. Haven't tried real hard though. A step up from the M1's IMO, but the M1's were great tires as well. |

Finally got out the track with my Racetec tires. WOW!!!! The traction was awesome. I'll have to get some pictures of the non-wear spots on the center of the tire |

Loki, Any further input? I have been running M1's on my X1 and the front is close to new. I need a new rear and was going to throw an M3 on there. I didn't want to have to replace the front yet if I didn't have to. Did you notice any ill effects from the M1/M3 combo? Thanks |
