Hallo. Is it possible, to replace the left-hand (outer) sprocket shaft bearing without removing the flywheel assembly from the crankcase? Only the bearing, not the race! Ralph (Message edited by Xldevil on January 24, 2006) |

Are you talking about Timken bearing or INA bearing? If it is a INA (XB) I Never thought of trying, I guess if you can get it out, I would assume you could get new on in. Do you have reason to try? If it is a Timken, it is pressed on and I can not see a way of getting it off and if it needs to be replaced, so should the inner bearing and the corresponding races. |
