Just got a pair of Conti road attacks installed on my 2004 XB12S and what great tires they are! some one said the road attacks grip like pilot powers and last like pilot roads, seems like this could be true so far. the biggest differance over the D207s is the confidence and ease of turning, on freeway off ramps for example on the 207s they always felt like they did not really want to let you turn and unless you applyed quite a bit of force on the bars and lean off the bike alot it would want to stand up. the road attacks on the other hand seem to drop into some invisible track and pull you around the turn with out much effort! slow speed parking menuvers are much easyer as well, the front stays in line and dose not try to fight you and steering is lighter. ride is much smoother as well even at the Continental recomended pressure of 35F and 41R (they had it listed in BAR so I had to convert it to PSI, 2.4F 2.9R) the only thing bad I can say about them is higher speeds the front tire seems to have a little more tread movment than the 207s and feels a little looser, but that should be a given since they have over 3 times the tread depth and a softer compound. I got these tires for almost $160 less than a set of D208s as well. so these are my favorite tires now |

Have installed Conti Road Attacks on my S3. Over 4,200 miles so far. Expect to get over 8,000 miles out of the rear, on the highway. Best I have seen, thus far, are the Bridgstone BTX20 (or is it BT020?) at 7,900 miles. (Message edited by 89rs1200 on February 02, 2006) |

I just slapped on a set of Pirelli Diablo Strada's and am hoping for 8000 miles. My new tire change location ($10 wheel off balance included) said he'd sell me the Conti Road attacks for $190. I can't wait to eat up 8k miles. Roll ON. NUTS |

Here is a good article: http://www.canyonchasers.net/reviews/accessories/road-attack.php Makes me wonder whether I should put a 180 or a 170 on my S3 (I have the PM wheels)? |

Recently put road attacks on my xb9s. Love them! Bike drops into the turn quicker and holds a line like its on rails, they also give very good feedback. Not that i'm competitive but I left a suzuki far behind on one of my favorite twisties today. |
