Does anyone know where to order the computer software for adjusting the TPS (throttle position sensor) and pulling up error codes from the ECM. I have heard that it is available and comes with the patch cord to go from a notebook computer to the bike. Dealerships now charge $70.00 to $80.00 to zero out the TPS in my area. |

Fabrice, You just got DirectLink, I see from your other post. Did you also get VDSTS? I bring that up so that James isn't confused by the difference. He just wanted to reset TPS's and such, not tune his ECM. I wouldn't rate either as perfect at this point, but pretty darned good would be a reasonable rating. VDSTS will be perfect for what it is when you can view the AFV value instead of just resetting it. That is coming. DirectLink is still lacking the AFV reset, which is a necessary first step in the tuning procedure, and that, plus the lack of completion of the testing that Terry and I have been doing, is why I don't sell it, YET. Both of those will be fixed very soon, and I will put it up on the website at that time. Those that buy the SW from me will get the tuning guide as well. Al |

You are right Al ...I have both vdsts and DL and you are so right about the AFV..in the meantime when the bike runs poorly because of fuel change an AFV reset is quickly done with VDSTS ...and here in France 95 Fuel is very diffrent to 98 (dont know what you got your way)...changing yersterday from 95 to 98 my bike ran poorly and engine did not keep correct idling and even stopped a quick AFV reset solved it all for me... The technoR software has changed everything for me...big time.. |

Suggest you create one under the " Engine - Fuel Sys..." subtopic. |
