Have an M2 and want higher bars. The Flanders website shows some of the standard bar dimensions (width, rise, pullback.) But they don't distinguish, or show the S3T. Anybody know if the S3 and S3T use the same dimension bars? Is the S3T standard handlebar the same as the Blast? The Flanders site shows the "clamp area" as one inch less on the Blast. Does that mean the knurling is different? Or just that the clamp is different? The Flanders website has some "extra-high" S3T bars, but doesn't show the regulat S3T bars. Last question, would I need to change to the S3T control cables? Clutch, brake, throttle? Looks like 2 inch higher. Thanks for any help ! The S3T bars are the same as the Blast bars. I have them on my X1 and they are identical to the stock bars on my wife's Blast. They seem to be about 1/2 to 1" narrower than the stock X1 bars, which I believe are the same as the stock M2 bars. Unfortunately I don't have the dimensions handy for you. I can tell you the S3T bars are very comfortable for me compared to the stock X1 bars. |

I'll second the increased comfort of the S3T bars over the stock X-1 fitting. The standard cables will work, you'll just need to reroute the clutch cable in particular and pull all available slack on the electrical connections. |

Well, found Blast bars on eBay. Follow up question, MIRRORs ! when I bought the used M2, guy handed me the mirrors. They look just like the ones in the Service Manual, but there doesn't seem to be any lock nut? How do they lock to the mounts? I want to move them to where I want to move them, they bottom out at the wrong spot. I tried twisting the black piece from the bottom, but couldn't budge it. Thanks! |

To get them to bottom out where you want you have to put thin washers on to regulate that. Make sure to use Locktite also. |

Anyone know if the M2 bars would fit on an S3, then? If so, Jayvee, send your take-offs my way! |
