I don't trust anything that Amsoil says. Too much of their marketing is BS slick willy sales tactics. They may have a good oil, but I would never trust any of their marketing or "test" reports. |

but you can use the report to compare other oils. I'd either use Amsoil or the Mobil1 oil. I use Amsoil in both of my diesel cars. and many guys on tdiclub.com test the oils on a UOA and the Amsoil oil works just fine. But I just wanted to post that link so that others can see how the oils stack up when compared to each other. If you don't like Amsoil then mark it off and use the list to pick out the your best choice of bike oil. |

A great example with problems in the Amsoil report is Royal Purple. You go to their website and they have test results that directly repudiate the results of the tests that Amsoil state Royal Purple did poorly on. I have never been comfortable with Amsoils marketing techniques or strategies. I think they do have a good product but not any better than some of the others. |

"but you can use the report to compare other oils." I strongly disagree. Based upon what I've seen, I don't trust any test results reports that come from Amsoil. (Message edited by blake on April 05, 2007) |
