Author Message   Aussie_buell Posted on Tuesday, October 25, 2005 - 07:00 pm:        I have just bought a new drive belt, i bought it on the pretense that it was a upgraded stronger belt then the original 03 XB9 belt. What i was hoping is that some one could confirm the part numbers. The new belt i recieved part number is G0500.02A8R the original number was G0500.02A8F Do i have the latest belt, i am assuming so with the R being later version then the F but not 100% certain.   Aussie_buell Posted on Tuesday, October 25, 2005 - 07:05 pm:        Guys sorry, i think i have just answered my own question, i used the search facilty and typed in the part number and found plenty of threads saying the R belt is a later version then the F. I did try looking first but didnt do a search, the search feature is excellant and i will used it more often from now on.
