I wouldn't give the stuff shelf space. If an injector is that coked up best remove it and clean it by hand. I often wonder what makes people fall for this stuff. I see it as snake oil. Rocket |

Someone please explain why this stuff works in a Buell F.I engine? What is it that you think it does? Rocket |

I believe there is much snake oil out there... BUT Many years ago a friend's FI turbo Z Car was running like CRAP. For MONTHS and MANY tanks of gas, it ran like CRAP. Throttle response was terrible. It stuttered and stumbled if you blipped the throttled. We ran a bottle of some kinda FI cleaner through. Don't recall what it was. Maybe STP. Man, what a difference. I'm not saying anything other than relaying a observation. That observation: Throttle response DRASTICALLY improved after we ran FI cleaner through the car - and STAYED good for months afterward (after which the car was totalled). -Saro |

Sure the FI cleaner will work on an injector that's clogged why wouldn't it? If you own a Buell that needs FI cleaner how old is that Buell and how many miles have you done on its worn out engine? There's a reason why FI cleaner will work and it's a bigger reason than a $10 tin of magic. Rocket |

Resurrecting this old post. My 00'X1 that I just got, seems to have a "long start" and occasional backfire on start. Was thinking about running some FI cleaner through it. Could I get a solid brand recommendation, how much to use, do I put it in an empty tank and then fill the tank with fuel or does it matter? |

Seafoam - can be added to the fuel or in the oil. |
