I've seen a number of painted XBs. What does the process consist of? Special plastic adhesive bonding primer/agent? (flexiblizer?) DAve |

better to buy aftermarket CF and paint that...you will have a better bonding plus the cool factor of it being CF |

I'm also interested in any advice on paint prep with the plastic body parts. I don't have enough $ for CF parts and stock plastic is cheaper on eBay. |

Scuff it prime it paint it.Using a flex agent you can do,that is what manufactures do with car bumper covers but in reality just like paint it cures over time and gets hard.It just takes longer but it still will.Stay tuned I just had my XB12S painted and I'll be posting pictures. Its pretty much a Extreme paint job.I'm picking up the final piece tonight. |
