Thinking about replacing stock single piston caliper with the twin piston Brembo from American Sport Bike. Anyone tried it yet? The say it works much better than stock but then again dragging my foot against the rear tire would work better than the stock unit. $400 is a lot to experiment with.

I really like the look of the caliper, but I really like the feel/feedback/power of the stock unit. I figure mine's not broken, so I'm not fixin' it...

I agree though, without really standing on it, the brakes don't lock. I prefer them that way. Enough to get me out of trouble, but not enough to get me into trouble.

IMO big rear brakes are for Cruisers, choppers, and dirt trackers. When you're hard braking with the front it takes very little to lock up/get chatter the rear.
