hacksaw the fender to a cleaner length, you may get a wet/dirty back when riding in the rain. Also check out American Sport Bike for fender/plate stuff, and anything else you might want to consider too. -Mike |

After hacking off the fender, use the two existing screws for mounting the tag bracket. Just bend a couple of pieces of flat steel or aluminum for brackets and if you mount turn signals you need to make small L brackets. I used some aluminum I had. |

DJ, which lights are those? Those running lights from an auto parts store? Screw mount? Or 2 sided tape. those are perfect for replacing my "dancing" lights.... Oh yeah, bought the bracket, a M2 rear lens, and took the trunk area out....big gaping hole underneath...until I get back in january... Chase |

I found them at a bike shop. They're Lockhart-Philips items but they're not very good - they have dual filament bulbs that don't emit much light. Maybe a bulb change would fix that. They came with stick-on pads and mounting screws. I used both. One thing I noticed after doing this - the tail shakes much less at idle, especially when I start the bike. That's been an improvement, but the license plate hanging out at that swoopy angle has me thinking it may be dangerous in a crash. |

Cool. As far as my plate bracket, it mounts behind the lens housing, and hangs out at about a 45* angle. I have crashed with it, no stress. The only issue I could see, is a 12 o'clock...yeah, it would drag.... Chase |
