To those of you have put on a D&D full system, or any full system for that matter... I put mine on a few weeks ago, and I've had a heck of a time sealing leaks from the two headers to the 2->1 collector. The back of the collector to the exhaust is fine. Is there a real black magic trick to getting it to seal, or should I just pull the whole thing apart and slap on some muffler weld? I'm prety sure I followed the directions right with the tighten at 6 and 12 etc. Any help would be appreciated... I'm turning those beautiful pipes black!!! Alex |

Alex, The problem with the D&D full system is that the clamps are too big. You need to find t-bolt clamps one size smaller for them to properly seal or else stick a piece of thin metal in between the clamp and the pipes. |
