My speedometer quit working. Local dealer put in new sender. Still didn't work, but would start working occasionally after 10-15 minutes at freeway speed. Dealer wants me to buy a new speedo ($150), but I don't think thats the problem. Suggestions? Sorry Blake if I'm in the wrong section |

You said they put in a new sender. Did you mean a new speed sensor? I know that will make the speedometer quit working. Buell Part # 74431-01B |

Hello, I've got an 03 Blast speedo problem. I've read all the posts, but still need a clue... The odometer has always worked, while the speedometer is inconsistent. I've cleaned, then replaced my speed sensor (74431-01B). Today was my first ride with the new sensor - it started working after the bike warmed up. What's the next likely candidate? Thanks |
