It's about time for me to put a new rear tire on my Cyclone. I am certainly no tire expert, so I'm looking for advice. I find I've been doing a lot of highway riding. So my current tire is getting worn and flat in the center and still has excellent tread on the sides. I'm thinking I need a harder tire? I've heard they make tires that are hard in the center and sticky on the sides. Anyone know anything about those? |

What are you running now and about how many miles on it? I going to replace mine (the original Dunlop 205's) this winter and have not made up my mind yet. I want a road tire, good in wet, and fair to good mileage. Jack (Message edited by jackbequick on August 07, 2005) |

Hi Jack, They are Dunlop 205s. I'm not sure of the mileage. They were on the bike when I bought it, and it had 4400 miles on it then. It now has 7800 miles. |

I liked the Metzler MEZ6 tires on my M2 the best. The Pirelli Scorpion Syncs are nice as well, but would probably be overkill in terms of grip on an M2. |
