Blake, from the beginning of this thing, you've been trying your damndest to deflect as much blame as possible away from Millennium and instead at the other parties. First at Art and Murrae, and now me. Well, that dog don't hunt. This mess wasn't caused by Art, or Murrae, or me. It was Millennium who shipped the defective product. It was Millennium who took their time in replacing it. It was Millennium who lost the pistons. It was Millennium who lied and said they shipped when they hadn't. It was Millennium who sent the wrong color. It was Millennium who tried to charge for the replacement. So go spin it however you want to. People aren't stupid. The fact that you struck a deal with them just days before this thread hit had no bearing on your vigorous defense of them, huh? Yeah, right. You made your choice. I made mine. Well, Just read that one during lunch up here in the great white north?!? What the f.U.c.K was that all about? To the custodians of the board (please don't take this personal) but that is the kind of shite that your supposed to be keeping from the rest of us. If that wasn't a complete waste of bandwidth and my lunch hour I don't know what ever could have been. Just my opinions Now a complete loss of a good friendship over a "Series of Unfortunate Events" Blake posted in part of that whole fiasco about consulting a lawyer regarding this board - It may be time to do that Blake - at some point someone will take you to task on comments and opinions. If you were here in Canada I could sell you a good Liability Policy to protect yourself and the board. Even if you are challenged in court and win the defence costs could be enormous and those policies can pay those. If I were a custodian I'd also re-consider my involvement as people having control over the board can also be held personally liable for allowing that kind of behaviour to continue. Please check out some Directors & Officers Insurance Policies/Claims Examples - they can be found on the net. As most of you Americans know we do live in a very, very litigious society these days - BE CAREFUL with who you •••• off. BTW I am not taking any sides on this so do not hold my comments in that regard. I am commenting only from an outsider and a professional in my field. | ||

Dan (Buelliedan), The purpose of the board varies from participant to participant... Some use it for entertainment. Some to learn about Buell motorcycles. Some for social interaction. Some for endless nattering argument and to see their own words in print. Some for promotion of their business to help feed their family. Some use it to find bargains on used parts. Some use it to keep in touch with friends and riding buddies. It depends on who you are. As far as the meaning of life, I believe that everyone's life comes to mean exactly what they put into it. For one that meant no less than the salvation for all mankind. For some unfortunate others it means spreading ill will and consternation or worse. For some blessed few it means lifting up those around them and spreading joy and peace and happiness. For others it means fighting for justice and truth. For too many it means getting all they can for themselves. And on and on and on... Personally I'm a slow learner in life, which is kinda frustrating. | ||

Is this thread still about the Nallin 1250 kit? If so, I'd like to finish my little tale of the Poor little S2 that couldn't. First off, I'd like to apologize for creating all this controversy about millennium and NRHS. First of, I feel some took offense to my statement about "Millennium and their crappy cylinders that keep losing their linings". Some felt that I was stating that ALL Millennium cylinders or products are crap. I am sorry for that, and I do wish to retract that statement. I for one was VERY unhappy with the "customer service" I was receiving after the lining went out on MY Millennium cylinders, and felt that they were dragging their feet on replacing them. I have no personal knowledge other than what I have read on this board about millennium cylinders going out repeatedly or frequently, I just know that mine went out, ONCE, and it took many months to resolve the issue and alot of folks took part in the process. I FINALLY have the S2 back here in Arizona, WITH the right cylinders installed. And I must say, the bike runs strong, and feels great. I still have a few issues to work out with the bike. I was curious about what I thought was a soft knocking sound, but after further inspection by the shop, they feel it is the cams normal sound and I should not worry, so I will be picking up the bike tomorrow and continuing on with the break-in. After all this, I must say, a year without a bike is really a long time. I do have 3 other Buells to ride while this was in the shop, but as most of you know, we always want to be on the one that's being repaired. I know my S1W went many long distance miles while the S2 was in the shop, and my butt reminds me of that little seat every time I sit on it. LOL But throughout this whole ordeal, the shop that installed the kit and NRHS were both helpful and VERY professional. I can't say enough about Aaron and his dedication to his business, or just how good this S2 feels with his 1250 kit in it. I also have to give many thumbs up to Murrae at Santa Fe HD/Buell. He bent over backwards and, I feel, went above and beyond, in his attempts to keep this customer happy. It has been a long ordeal indeed, but I really have no regrets. I am VERY happy with the 1250 kit. It is a good solid motor and NRHS backs up their products 120% as far as I am concerned. I feel the same about Santa Fe HD/Buell. Once again, a shop that goes the extra mile to make their customers happy. So hopefully this will end my little drama, and perhaps end all the controversy on this thread. Thanks Aaron, you make a good product and stand by it. We couldn't ask for more from a company. And thank you Murrae, you did a great job, and provided of the best customer service I have received in years. I’ll be bringing my S1W over for some work soon. | ||
