While attempting to remove my front tire (need a new one) tonight the bolt that holds the tension clip on the front caliper stripped. It is the allen head screw behind the screw cap. How can I get this out now??? I thought about using a saws all, but it is too tight to get in there and not screw everything up. HELP!!! |

Impact wrench and hex socket was what I always used after the first time I did what you have. I took it to my local shop and let them repair my repair. You can try to drill it out (the threads are in the head) but be careful with all the aluminum. |

Thanks Josh. I am dropping it off at the dealer after work today. I have to put my new rear tire on and will pay them to fix the bolt and swap out the front tire. |

Can someone post up the exploded pictures of the front and rear brake set-up for a '00 S3. I was told that I am missing part number H0023.F, and that it has been ordered. I want to make sure that it is not a part that I dropped off to the dealership. Thanks |

Never mind. I figured out which bolt it is. It is the one that was stripped on the front caliper. Looks like a $3 part may keep me from my trip this weekend. |
