Last year I replaced the rubber seals on my saddlebags. Since then they are extremely difficult to close. Almost requiring me to pound on the lid to get it to latch. I am pretty sure that I got the seals pushed into the case all the way.

Any ideas?

Remove the latch assemblies and with a rat tail (small round) file and make the mounting holes slots. I had to do this on mine from new as they were just too tight. And yes, they leak, get over it!

Thanks for the suggestion Rerc. I will have to give that a try.

I know that they leak. The seals were replaced because the old ones had folded into the case in spots.
