Ok folks its up on the brag site: http://www.buell.com/en_us/brag/adventures/2005/homecoming.asp And it looks like our guessing paid off, the only thing we didnt count on was the vent ending on the 6th, but waht can they do aafter the race?? No big deal, the dates laid out by Dennis work out perfect and we dont miss a thing, so dont forget to sign up, and we might want to consider getting a buddy or figuring out where we are going to stay during homecoming R |

I'm still deciding where to stay for the homecoming. If the host town is West Bend, it's less than 2 hours from home. But I really missed the evening fun last year so I may stay in the area. Maybe I can even find a house to rent on Lake Winnebago. |

Are we likely to have a problem getting accommodation in West Bend at that time? or will motels etc be easy enough to find with room for all? If enough people are sure of going we might get a block booking rate somewhere. Any other ideas? (no tents) |

I'm not sure yet if West Bend will be a problem with lodging. BRAG usually sets up a good hotel/resort with decent price. Because West Bend is close to Road America, they may have a good race crowd that weekend. I'm more concerned about additional lodging in Deal's Gap. If we plan on arriving Sunday, it's the middle of a busy holiday weekend. Our timing probably isn't the best. Dennis |

I'm more concerned about additional lodging in Deal's Gap. If we plan on arriving Sunday, it's the middle of a busy holiday weekend. Our timing probably isn't the best If we need additiona lodging, than people need to bring sleeping bags so they can sleep on the floor, if people are not willing to speak up, than bad on them, i will sleep in a tent if need be, no big deal, i enjoy it, and if others want to join in an have not commited, than its there bad, sorry, but putting the burden on you is foolish, plus i am willing to bet some will back out, so dont worry, the house is covered, and if more want to join in, thy better speak up or bring a tent R |

I was looking at the BRAG page, am I to understand that homecoming is now a closed event and if one does not pay, one will be excluded from the "BRAG/H.O.G." events? i.e. (Buell) factory tour... Oz |

The 20th Anniversary Event was not sanctioned by either BRAG/HOG that was a grassroots effort from a small group of people that was a large success!!!! I am not a member of BRAG/HOG but will have to pay for the event and a membership!!!!! |

The BRAG events have been "leaniant" to say the last with regards to hanging out with the group. They've tightened the control on things like meals (understandably) and factory tours. I can't say I blame them. There are costs to run these events that need to be covered. |

it's easy to sneak in to most parts of the events, from what I've seen, but may not fit with your own personal Jimminy Cricket -- the entire event has costs, as Lake said -- the dough's gotta come from somewhere |
