Ok, I have scored some XB headers thanks to Odie. I will have them Jet coated black in the near future (part of project NEMESIS). I'm asking if FBPC is up for the challenge of header removal and installation. I am offering up my bike as the sacrifice to the deity. What's in it for the 3%ers, you ask? Well for starters: The wealth of knowledge gained from this project and a set of headers to be put on the table for others to to the same mod if you are so inclined. This would allow no down time for anyone except for the removal and installation of their trick headers. |

I'm up for the challenge. New12r, you in? I don't think it'll be that hard. We were talking about this last night. Looks to be more time consuming than anything else. I'll be in touch with Shred this afternoon, and I'll see if he's ready to lift a bike. I'll let you know this evening when we get together. This'll be a good project. No down time is my kind of time! |

It won't be for a while. Maybe before March Badness. If not, for sure after it. |

I only wish the headers were the same size for 9's and 12's so I could take advantage of this deal! |

I'll try to get a price on the Jet Coat also. Too Cool! Is there any of us left with a stock bike. Other than Hulley, his is too new to be molested just yet |

I'll put my two cents in on the header swap, and maybe even turn a wrench or two. The jet hot header has been lingering in the back of my mind. |

Thanks guys. 6:30 - 7pm tonight would work. Is that time good for you guys? My bikes is < 2 mi. from the dealer, behind the Public at 78 and Killian Hill. I believe the subdivision is called Scenic Mountain; it's on the left just past that road behind SMHD/Buell, The Home Depot, etc. In the neighborhood, 2nd street on the right, the address is 2025 Khyber Pass. The house at the end of the street straight ahead of you. |

I just bought a new xb9sx and this is my first time owning a new bike. I am supposed to take a trip 2 hours up 85 to South Carolina this weekend and I only have about 250 miles on the bike. I need to know if this would be okay to do or if I should try to put off the trip until I pass the 500 mile break in. Thanks for any help. |

Shad- shouldn't be a problem. Just don't hit it too hard and keep it around 55mph. It'll be hard 'cause I'm sure she is gonna want to run like a scaulded dog. |
