For those of you who wanted frame sliders for tube frame bikes. I think I'll model 'em up to use these pucks: http://www.kneedraggers.com/details/59-VR-19 I *THINK* you can get these at the torque center also. I'm going there today to pick a pair up so I can finish the design, and get 'em done. I'll then be able to tell what the material costs will be. It's most likely going to be made out of 6061-T6 aluminum. I'll also make room on the attachment point to the frame to use some rubber, so it wont scratch up the frame. So who wants a pair? |

Steve, I would be interested in a set. Let me know when you need to get a look at my bike for the differences in years. Good meeting last night for January. I think there may be enough stuff coming up that will keep PMS at bay! Remember to check www.brewcitybrag.org for updates. |

I've got those frame sliders designed up, but I'd like someone to double check the length for me on a tuber, if they have their bike handy today. Mine is burried in my shed. I'll post a PDF with dimensions on 'em this afternoon. I'm using the Vortex frame slider pucks, since they are the cheapest, and can be purchased easily from MAW, or locally. They had them at Lake Country motorsports in Waukesha. You can even get 'em in different colors http://www.mawonline.com/photos/lp_vortex_sldr_pucks.gif I'm not using the metric screw they include in the package. I was talking to one of the guys at Lake COuntry, and he said when he dumped his, the screw pulled out. So I'm using a longer 5/8-11 SHCS. |

Steve, What dimensions do you need checked? My bike is fairly accessible (the left side for sure). Looks good! |

Well, I need a distance from the frame Centerline to the outer most portion that would hit the pavement. Which would most likely be the air box. I guessed at my current dimensions. You can get a PDF part print here |

Hey Steve would you have a set for the rear of the XB? I have seen the one's that go thru the axle and use the plastic sliders. I'm definately interested and I think Fieryxb is too. Let me know ok? |

Yup, we'll be making some front AND rear axle sliders for the local Brag groups. You need to get Fiery to get some of those Buell frame pucks before riding season starts! Note to Blake: Yes, the XB axle sliders will be for material costs only also |

Steve, I will try and get the dimension for you tonight. Did you stop by Hal's on Saturday? We were in GB for my company holiday party at Lambeau. Ran into Lake_Bueller and talked for a little while. Ended up on a VIP tour again...it was greatly appreciated!!! |

Aaron, I dug out the S3T this weekend, so I could mount Toni's new windshield and purple body work. So I'll measure it myself tonight. So I'll measure mine, but I don't have a stock airbox, so maybe you should, if you could measure yours. Yeah, we went to Hal's saturday. Talked with Jim Winters a bit. He liked my frame sliders They also said to remind 'em when we have our next brag meeting(he is actually a Brag member). And if we ever want a meeting back there again, to just say the word! Hal's had an XB12SCG that fit Toni like a glove. Maybe when she graduates from the blast Maybe we could beg Lake Bueller for a Brew City brag ride to Lambeau and VIP tour?

Steve....no begging required. I did one for the Uke's group last year. The best summer dates are after mini camp and before training camp. That's usually mid-June through late-July. Of course, weekends are fine (Sunday is better than Saturday). |

Steve, I have the CF oval on my bike. Sounds like we have a planned ride for late June or July!! |

Aaron, then don't worry about it. I'll dig my bro's S3T out. He's got a stock airbox, and I have the CF airbox. So between the two, I should have a good measurement. Lake, be careful, we're most likely going to take you up on that offer |

I wouldn't offer if I didn't mean it. Seriously, there's a standing offer to any fellow Buellers. I just need a little notification to make sure I'm available. Oh yeah...it needs to be at the "right time". That depends on time of day, week, year, etc. |

Hmmm, somewhere between 44 and 50 degrees sounds good, like about 1:00 ??? I need to see if the bike will start and get it out for a nice, slow easy ride !! Is Toni coming along ?? CJ |

Of course Toni is gonna come! I just wanna take a ride around Milwaukee, whatever. The tar snakes, salt, sand, etc.. Out in the kettle moraine area wouldn't be nice this time of year. So I'd like to stick close to Milwaukee, Waukesha, etc... My shock is also junk now. I've got a new one, but haven't, and wont have the time to change it, so major twisties is out of the question for me. Maybe ride around a while, and stop somewhere for an early dinner? Maybe Mike could give use a repeat performance of his table dance? I just wanna get out and RIDE! I'm leaving work today at 2:00, so I can work on my S3T, replacing some parts from dumping it. I'd also like to take this as a photo opportunity of the brag group. Hal's has a nice little display now highlighting Brew City Brag. So lets give 'em some pictures to put up there!!! |

We are headed up north this weekend to see my mother-in-law go skiing during the day on Saturday That is where my priorities are for this weekend! My M-I-L asked us to come visit. My wife told her that we would if she would watch Grace while we went skiing. Not a bad deal in my book. |
