Al, Wick and Rick, Yeah! Had a great time today. No drama on the ride today except one close call with the boys in blue. I think Wicked is still surprised he pulled over the 90 year old guy up front instead of the two "Hooligans" in back. Cloudy skys all day until the ride home, then the clouds parted, the sun came out and then......it rained. Figures. Didn't last long though. Ride next weekend. Maybe. I need new tires as well. I think this time I'll try the new Michelin Pilot Powers. Heard nothing but good things about them. | ||

sorry couldnt make it guys..ended up having to work all weekend..went out sat night though. As soon as i a weekend that i get a day off i already got permision to go from the wife. My problem is that i keep getting middle of the weekdays off. warped...always wanted to go but the group i usually ride with ends up going other places..lol places with less cops.and even then they find us. | ||

Hey guys, My step-brother is going to pull through.  He blew out his lower aorta. Pretty messed up. His neck swelled up and he started feeling fatigued, and had a temp. The hospital acted quick, seemed to know right away it was heart related. Opened his chest up, and replaced the artery with one from his leg. Amazing what they can do nowadays. To bad they can't figure out diseases that quickly.  Thank you for your thoughts. Bart | ||

Wow...that'll give ya a reality check. Missing a Saturday ride ain't such a big deal when you put things like that into perspective! I'm glad to hear he's gonna be okay. Hey all, Just droppin' a note to say hi. Having a blast on my commute from Pendleton to Yuma. With exception of the straight 8 from Occotillo to Yuma, those are some of the best roads in the SW! I took the 76 and 79 this time instead of 78. Skirted palomar mtn. and just took in some great scenery. All the trees are changing to golden hues. Hope you all have a great ride. Bart, wish your brother my best bro. Glad you're there with him after that major surgury. Wish him the best in recovery. Later all. |
