Anybody go riding yesterday? I met up with Macbuell/ Newr12 and Glitch for a bit. We did some back roads to L'ville and dropped GLitch off then the rest of us did some more back roads for a bit. It was a beautiful day for riding!!! Anyone interested in my Christmas Party idea???? Shred said he'd go (Message edited by along4theride on November 01, 2004) |

It was a great ride and it was nice meeting everyone. I had an "Oh " moment during the ride that no one witnessed. I was at the back of the pack and we were going at a pretty nice pace through a blind s turn. I got through the first turn nicely but didn't expect the switchback and I thought I was coming in a little hot so I grabbed the front brake, but a little too much front brake, and unsettled the chassis a little. No worries though, I just picked her up and dove back into the turn and kept going. I was a little aggravated with myself for what can best be called poor trail breaking which I generally consider myself to be pretty good at. Oh well, I recovered and rode on. A4TF, I think a Christmas Party sounds like fun. On another note, has anyone thought of putting a group together to head down to Jennings for a track day? |

B_S: You should have wrapped up the old pipe to open on Christmas. Just a little white Christmas lie. I don't think I could have pulled off the Drummer. At least you have something to look forward to in, how many days? A4TR: I'm not sure I can make it to the Hog Christmas party. I'll check my schedule; it sounds fun. |

Fran_dog..... Glitch had the same idea. Chrissy's pretty smart. She would know as soon as I fired it up....unless I pushed it out of the neighborhood first. That hill is pretty steep though. by the way it is 53 days 9 hrs and 13 mins until x-mas. I haven't been this excited since I got that lime green freestyle bike when I was 13 y.o. |

Blaster_s....I am so covered up at work right now I can even think about making cool CF stuff. Maybe when I get caught up I can do you one. I still have the mold from mine. Hopefully MacBuell(if your reading this) will let me borrow his hugger for a mold and I can make a flyscreen and a rear CF hugger for myself at he same time. |

A4TR, I bought the textile jacket, Tribal I think. Full liner = extra warm Nice fit. Well made. The only thing I don't like is at or above 70 it's a parachute, probably not a problem for you on the R. If it fits you good, you won't regret buying it. The price is right too. |

Paulinoz- Thanks that is just what I was looking for!!! Rooster2168- Just let me know and I'll swap no problem. Glitch- What color did you get?? The tribal is what I was lookin' at. I want to get the blue and black to match my bike. When did you get it? What size? Can I check yours out sometime soon? I need to decide fairly quick. Stealth.....sorry, just wouldn't go with the whole Black_sunshine thing....Hummm...Magnesium_sunshine...Nah. Macbuell/A4TR....You have mail. Odie....Let em start by saying that you are my savior. I never knew I was punishing my buttocks so bad. The pony feels wonderful and I am no longer trapped in one position. The seatbelt signs are off and I am free to move about the cabin. The overall height has been raised and it is PERFECT. It also matches my CF bling rather nicely. That pic sucks...you can't see the pattern very well. Fran_dog...I would highly recommend a standard seat. I will let you put my seat on your bike and ride it next time we meet up. (Message edited by black_sunshine on November 01, 2004) |

I want to get the blue and black to match my bike. Mine's blue and black to match my bruises. You can check it out tomorrow at Bike Night. Does anyone want to swap primary and gear covers? Paint would be so much easier. Shred changed out his primary side once. There's a lot to it. |
