My friends. My dearly beloved friends. My wonderful, trusted, kind, sweet, caring, loving, dear, friends..... So Okay, I have a small problem with authority. I've got this one little teeny tiny issue with our friends in blue who do traffic duty. But hey, you gotta love me, right? I mean, you know, right? Why don't about ten or twelve or fifty of ya'll go over to this thread and defend me. That's the least you could do for a brother in trouble. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/4062/79415.html?1097795024 Thanks, RaY2K (Message edited by Ray_maines on October 14, 2004) |

HAHA Ray, I feel for ya brother. Well folks the other day I sent an email to Justin @ Nallin again, and basically just said sorry this is taking way to long I'll have it done some where else. I just cant believe they have not got back to me. That is just bad business straight out. Oh well, guess nallanizing is out of the question for me. Im going to try to find someone local to do the work for me. |

S1, Good decision. What are your intentions in regard to Motor work? Are you looking for more power? or reliable good power? Here, you can have this old 96. She's bent but still runs. Think Triumph Bob |

Hey all. I just got a little ride in at the new "Buellnuts Raceway" The on and off ramps all have a new , smooth, layer of blackest black top that is perfection. Up to 38th, back on to 705 u-turn at the Old City Hall and 'one more time'! Fun way to use a half hour. Totally ASSHAT! In fact every thing is totally asshat lately! from the slipstream, Galen |

Hey all, Just checking in from the land of the Sand Fly. Been lurking and gotta say I loved the asshat comments. The worst thing about being over here (besides missing Janel and the girls) is not getting to see many bikes, much less ride. Then it happened... I was walking to chow the other night and there it was, sitting in the DFAC parking lot... a brand new Ducati 999R! Holy cow and me without my camera! Turns out one of the Bloke contractors picked it up here in Kuwait. # 312 of 1000. Only paid 12,500 Kuwaiti Dinar for it. Lets see, with the exchange rate ($3.40:1 KD) that works out to...only $42,500 US! It was sexy tho, all carbon bodywork, blood red, etc. The owner was complaining that it sounds terrible and he can't wait to get 1000 km on it so he can have the dealer mount the race pipe. He was lucky I wasn't armed! Some people are never happy I guess. Oh well, back into my hole. Shiny side up folks and have a couple for me. Pete |

Shotgun, Don't think I will be riding today. This liquid sunshine just does not appeal to me! I was so depressed this morning when I woke up and heard the rain. YUK! So if you do go have fun, and I will see you Tuesday. Pete nice to hear from you! $42000 US???? It would have to be a real special Duc for that amount. What the weather like over here? Galen miss ya! Will we see you at the IMS show? Loni I will be posting later today the dates and a place to stay for the IMS show |

Thanks for posting the link to the info for the IMS show Ray! Dec 10th, 11th, and 12th are the dates for the IMS show in Seattle. Chris and I are planning on going up Sat early and getting into a room at the Best Western Pioneer Square which is 3-4 blocks away from the show, and 5-6 blocks away from where we are going to meet for dinner Sat night. Best Western Pioneer Square 77 Yesler Way Seattle, WA 98104 Local Phone# 206.340.1234 Chain Res. # 800.800.5514 Can anyone remember the name of that brewery? Ray I think you told me about the place last year. I also need a phone #. I will make reservations for dinner in the end of Nov, so let me know if you are going to make it! Last year was a great time. This year I hope that the Canadians can come down and stay Sat night and have dinner with us and enjoy the show Sunday. Or like last year...Chris and I went Sat and Sun. It seems like we saw much more on Sun the second time around. Well at least thats the day we spent the most $$! Loni |

Yo, Bob. Remember how I scratched up my intake on that little spill I took on the goat path on the way home from Border Raid? MY WWBD sticker was wiped out too. And whoa is me, I gave the last of them away. Well not to worry. It's all repaired, it just don't glow in the dark like the old one used to. |

I should probably copyright that photo. I found some sticky-back photo paper and put about 6 coats of clearcoat over the top of it to keep the weather out. I'm telling you, we ought to be thinkin about running Bob for President next time on an independent, WWBD ticket. I aint poopin either! Of course he'd need weekends off for riding, maybe a better wet bar in the oval office, maybe an oval track around the White House grounds for when he needed to pound on a bike when Congress got him down, but heck-all-Friday, that'd be cheap compared to some of what the current fornicators are buying. Bob don't need to serve Champaign at State Dinners. A keg or two would be fine. Bob don't need to eat offa gold plates, he's used to paper. Bob don't need 24 Cadillac Limosines at his disposal, a much smaller fleet of personal bikes for him and the Secret Service would save a lot of money and gas. And my Gosh, think of Deb as first fornicatin Lady! I believe more Americans could relate to Deb than to any previous 1st Lady. She's warm and funny and cares about real people. And when you get her drunk enough, she'll flash you those bought and paid-for boobs. Dynamite tv appeal. Anyway, that's for next time. "Four more beers!" |

I am wanting the bike to be reliable really, I mean I am not trying to tear it down all the time. OK, I mean, anymore then I am now...hehe...anyways. I think I want more HP though, I cant see spending any money unless I am getting more ummmmph So I was thinking of still ordering a 1250 kit from nallin and just having someone here do the work on the heads or whatever else is needed. |

I might be needing an American address for some parts I'm buying. Preferably someone going to the IMS that could hand it off to me there. (Small package. Air filter.) Chris and Loni? And Harve. I think we're asshats if we don't over-night in Seattle. In? |

Hi Loni, I agree with you. For $42,000 it would have to come with one of those "vibe-riders" from the other thread! Of course, being around that much carbon fiber and unobtainium was almost sexual in and of itself. Things are actually cooling down here. We only hit 101 the other day and the forecast for Sunday is a high of only 93. I may have to break out the long-sleeved Buell shirts. |
