I rode my bike out west Michigan to Muskegon where I have a cabin. LOTS of fun on those roads along the Muskegon River. Windy/Twisty. I was on vacation all week. I will be there this week. Wolverine Street Carvers |

I just got back from a 1200 mile tour on my Blast out to upstate NY. Lots of twisty roads. Anyway - you may be seeing the Blast out on the showroom floor at Wolverine sometime soon. I traded it in today (*gasp*) for a Sportster 883 Custom. I just needed a bigger bike and right now, they've got 2004 clearance at the dealer - so it was an offer too good to pass up. Hopefully I can still ride with you guys - I'm still a big fan of Buells - and who knows, I might get another one in the future. |

If you want to be TOTALLY obscure, you could try to use some of the greek mythology to develop a name. The last sentence indicates to me that Erik may have considered the mythos to name the bikes. There's some good material here for fodder. From MSN Encarta: Pegasus: winged horse, son of Poseidon, god of the sea, and the Gorgon Medusa. Pegasus sprang from Medusa's neck when she was killed by the hero Perseus. Shortly after its birth, the magic steed struck the ground on Mount Helicon, and on the spot a spring, later sacred to the Muses and believed to be a source for poetic inspiration, began to flow. All longed in vain to catch and tame the creature, and this became the obsession of Bellerophon, prince of Corinth. On the advice of a seer, Bellerophon spent a night in the temple of the goddess Athena. As he slept, the goddess appeared to him with a golden bridle and told him that it would enable him to capture Pegasus. When Bellerophon awoke, he found the golden bridle beside him, and with it he easily captured and tamed the winged horse. Pegasus thereafter proved to be a great help to Bellerophon and aided the hero in his adventures against the Amazons and the Chimaera. Bellerophon was overcome by his own pride, however. When he attempted to fly to the top of Olympus to join the gods, the wise horse threw him, leaving Bellerophon to wander disconsolately about, hated by the gods. Pegasus found shelter in the Olympian stalls and was entrusted by Zeus with bringing him his lightning and thunderbolts. |

LOTS of bikes there lastnight. More then last week. Also alot more H_D customs and a couple Vrod customs as well. Had some interesting convos with a few people. There was my bike, an X1, 2 matching blue XB9R's and the yellow XB9S that went through but didn't stop. It was hilarious cause from about 7-9 there was this gap around my bike. Finally when parking became a serious premium people started filling in the gap. The guys nearby were laughing, they had made room for their friends and their friends refused to park next to my bike. The looked at me and said "no offense man, but that thing needs to be seen to be beleived" it was all good |

I mentioned the parts could be ordered by DaveS of Appleton for the badweb discount. Or you could order the parts from Wolverine. All the parts he used are stock pieces. |
