OK long story short- When I bought my bike they didn't have the passenger pegs for it so they ordered them. Well they gave me rear passenger arms for a 12 (the color doesn't match my 9 frame) They re-ordered them and got the same one's. They said there is only one part number and all they keep getting is the dark grey color like a 12 frame. I spent over 30 minutes working with the parts guy trying to get this figured out. I tried to explain that Buell HAS to make them in a 9 frame color!! Ummm Shred's are silver, Dave's are silver and they MATCH THE FRAME. They were even on the phone with HD and they said there is only 1 part number for both- so around and around we go again. I have talked to Stone Mtn. They said that the 2003 catalog shows 2 part numbers so it must be a misprint in the parts catalog. SMHD said to have the Cycle World call HD, which they did and HD has only one part number for it too and really couldn't help beyond that??? They can't even tell you what color you get when you order that part number??? Go Figure Governor- Hey my bike has been doing that 'sputtering' thing too. NewR12 said that it was your spark plug wires right?? I hit 100mph a couple times on my way to Athens today and when I slowed back down it didn't like running consistantly at the lower RPM's and would sputter. Glitch recommended checking something but I have to ask him again what it was. I figure I'll check what he recommended and the plugs and see if that fixes it. It was silver instead of gold. It must be for a 9, I guess they should just paint all the frames the same to save confusion.   New12r Posted on Saturday, October 23, 2004 - 07:07 am:        A4TR, take it to SMHD/B and have them do a Idle learn/ TPS reset. That is what Dave was telling you after our ride home from the Vortex. I still think it is very possible you have a bad plug wire or one that is not connected all the way, never hurts to check. Paint 'em and you're go to go. There is a guy that lives in my community that has an R6. His name is Will as well. I'm not sure his riding ability, so he could be squiddish. I extended an invite none the less. Funny thing is he saw mike bike outside a few days ago a came over for a closer look. He was very impressed. Yesterday he came over again with his buddy and said. Kyle, wants to see your bike(R6 as well). He said "this is the bike I was telling you about, Killer, Huh?". So needless to say they were very envyous R6ers. I was nice and said if you want to see an whole $hitload of Buells come ride with us Sunday.
