Fran_Dog, post a closer pic of those bars please..... B_S, I'm going to respond to your PM; I just have to sort thru some figures and such. We'll get it all figured out! I still smile everytime I start mine up and then smile somemore when I start riding! The sound alone is enough, let alone the performance. I'll let you know and you can decide what you want to do....Odie |

GLITCH: Ok last time, I promise. Could you please e-mail me or post the 3% logo but can you do it in black only. The guy can do it but it would be easier to do with just 1 color. Thank You. |

I'll get a better pic of the bars, more of a closeup. This computer thing and I don't get along very well at times. ? Where can I get the K&N air filter? I haven't looked for one yet. Odie: What have you done with your "cheese grater", what's your fix? |

B_S: What's the cost of the K&N? Did you try and source it somewhere else also? I'm not sure about the clipped tall on the XB. |

Fran_dog...I think I paid 60 or so bucks. Its pretty much the same across the board. I don't know if you saw what I did with my "grater" If anyone is wondering...Yes, that is a shamless CF showoff on my part. (Message edited by black_sunshine on October 19, 2004) |

Pro-Series Race Air Cleaner: $64.95 I do not believe the K&N is available for the XB's outside of HD as a result of some agreement between the two companies. |

B_S: Yes I've seen the Black_Sunshine CF Grater; it's awesome, and yes, I'm green with envy. Has anyone seen the K&N for less tan $60. That's a big dent in the pocket for one filter. Alway looking to save a buck. I would think the plugs would be a change on condition item. Not sure what the inspection interval is on the plugs. Time to check the manual. * From the manuals * In my '03 owner's manual it says replace at 10k miles for the plugs, service manual says inspect/clean/ or replace at 5k and replace at 10k but I like my "on condition" answer. Fran_dog.....It is not a disposable air cleaner. You will never have to buy another one. There is a cleaner and treatment to keep it like new. It will pay for itself in the long run. It makes a huge difference in performance. |

Stock 12 pipe should be on it's way from Omaha, NB via ENTERPRISE, AL in the morning. YeeMotherFuckinHaw!!! Who is gonna be first to get one of these beasts on a dyno? |

Stealth, I'll be looking for it. Do you want duals? If I had more time I would dyno a 12 and a 9 pipe but time is something I just can't get enough of right now. I think dyno's are great but I don't ride a dyno, I ride a motorcycle and if it sounds better and goes faster, runs better, and just all around feels better then I'm happy! I don't feel anything has been lost with either the 12 or the 9 pipe though. I think the dyno sheets will look pretty good though, just from my rearend dyno estimate.....Later...Odie |
